If You Are Willing To Receive It

When the disciples began to realize that Jesus was the promised Messiah, they asked about Elijah, whom they knew was to preceed the Messiah. If Jesus was the Messiah, then why hadn't they seen Elijah, who was supposed to come first? Jesus responded to them by saying that Elijah had come, only he wasn't recognized. "If you are willing to receive it", Jesus said, "John the Baptist is the Elijah to come."
