Behind The Veil of Moses is THE book I've been waiting for! I've been looking for a book to give to family and friends to share my understanding (Preterism) of the Bible and your book is just the ticket. As an added bonus, you present some insights that are wonderful new gems of knowledge I haven't encountered previously. Easily understandable and wide in scope, it’s a treasure of a book.

I could not agree more with the previous contributor, Sharon Nichols. While there is a growing wealth of resources for the preterist interpretation of Scripture, (this web site to mention one in particular), Brian Martin’s book is a work by a layperson, for lay people, and deserves a place in the library of every serious Bible student, preterist or not. A second edition of this book should be printed in hardback and be re-titled simply “The Preterist Handbook”. Good job, Mr. Martin! And may God richly bless you. This is truly a wonderful resource.

From the title alone we might expect to find this book in the mystery section of our local bookstore, and this idea is enhanced when we read on the back cover, “What did Jesus prophesy concerning His second coming? What did the inspired authors of the New Testament teach about it? To find out we must look… Behind the Veil of Moses.”

Intrigued? You should be! From the first chapter, “If You Are Willing To Receive It” through the last, “Is This All There Is?” Mr. Martin takes the reader on a delightful journey through the Bible that will keep your eyes glued to the pages, just as a well penned mystery story would do.

There is no doubt the book accomplishes the authors “primary objective,” which is “to introduce and establish the foundation and framework of Preterism” to the uninitiated, but the book surpasses his evangelistic goal and the seasoned Preterist will not be disappointed. It contains some wonderful gems of insight that alone make the book a worthwhile read for all Bible students. Preterism can be such a mystery to our futurist friends, but this book is a fabulous tool to present the teaching to them. The “mystery” will be revealed once they step Behind the Veil of Moses.
